I have found a few definitions for a ‘syndrome’. I have come across medical definitions as well as psychological definitions. Here is a few…
A set of symptoms occurring together; the sum of any morbid state;

Down Syndrome Eyes Connect to the Brain

It seems to me that if I can SHOW Isaac something, then he has a mush easier time understanding.
He tries very hard to look ahead and to anticipate.  Actually most of the time he does a really really good job of anticipating.  When it is time to explain something that he has not yet experienced, it may be hard to explain things unless you have some type of visual to help.
